It seems some people might be having problems installing or finding the instructions on how to install Zygor Guides in-game leveling guide for World of Warcraft I am going to put the instructions here for those who need them.

There are 7 steps to install Zygor Guides in-game leveling guide and we will go over them all. The first 2 steps can be done 2 different ways, so use whichever is easiest for you. I will go over these first, then go over the remaining steps (3-7).

First Way: steps 1 – 2

Step 1:

After downloading the guide, go to the directory where the file was saved. Unzip/extract the file. This can be done in 2 ways.

a) double left click the file and it will open up showing it’s contents that you can then copy. If this doesn’t work, try

b) right click the file, then click “extract all”. Extracting to the default location should be fine. Then click “extract”.

Once the file is unzipped/extracted you will see 3 folders.

- ZygorGuidesViewer

- ZygorGuidesAlliance or ZygorGuidesHorde (depending on which faction you downloaded)

- Cartographer

Step 2:

Find the location of your World of Warcraft AddOns folder. The default location is:

C:Program FilesWorld of WarcraftInterfaceAddOns

Copy the 3 folders (the ones we unzipped/extracted) into your World of Warcraft AddOns folder.

Second Way: steps 1 – 2

Step 1:

After downloading the guide, go to the directory where you saved the file. Copy/Cut the file.

Step 2:

Find the location of your World of Warcraft AddOns folder. The default location is:

C:Program FilesWorld of WarcraftInterfaceAddOns

Past the file into your World of Warcraft AddOns folder and then extract it.

To extract the file:

After copying/cutting and pasting, right click the file, then click extract all. The default location should be fine, but check just to make sure the location is pointed to your World of Warcraft AddOns folder. Then click extract.

Make sure these 3 folders are now in your AddOns folder.

- ZygorGuidesViewer

- ZygorGuidesAlliance or ZygorGuidesHorde (depending on which version you downloaded)

- Cartographer

Steps 3 – 7

Step 3:

Log into World of Warcraft and stop at your Character Selection Screen.

Step 4:

Click the red Addons button at the bottom left of your screen. Make sure the following are checked with gold check marks in the list that pops up on your screen:

- Zygor’s Guides Viewer

- Zygor’s Guides – Alliance and/or Zygor’s Guides – Horde ( depending on which guide you downloaded)

- Cartographer

Step 5:

Make sure the Load Out of Date AddOns button is checked in the top right corner above your addons list.

Step 6:

Click the Okay button.

Step 7:

Click the Enter World button.

Congratulations. Your guide is now set up and ready to go.

A few days ago I decided to create a new Blood Elf character. Dreading the long grind to the higher levels, I decided to buy the Zygor Leveling Guide for the Horde & see if it would really help level my character faster. Here are my impressions from the first couple of days of using Zygor.

I hadn’t found previous leveling guides to be of much use. As much as anything else, that’s because of the way you had to keep jumping in and out of the game to consult the guide. It got so frustrating that for a while I used two computers whenever I played: one for the game, and another to display the current guide page. Not only was it a pain in the neck, but it disrupted the flow and pulled my head out of the game world whenever I had to consult the guide.

Zygor Guides work within World of Warcraft. What does that mean? It means that the guide information appears in a window right inside the game. The information is easier to access, and you can stay “in” the game, which makes the whole experience much smoother and more fun.

You’re also in control of the amount of information the guide gives you. You can close the Zygor Guide window completely if you just want to focus on playing. You can have a small window with the minimal amount of information, just enough to let you know what your next objective is. If you want even more information, you can switch to a large window that displays all the details about your current leveling activity. There’s even an interactive arrow that you can display on the screen, showing you the distance and direction of the next objective. You get all the information you need without ever having to look away from the game.

All that’s cool, but you’re probably wondering if the Zygor Leveling Guide accomplishes its mission of helping you level super fast. Well, when I was ready to test the guide for the first time, my brother offered to escort me with one of his characters that was several levels higher than mine. I told him what I was doing & that I would do this session on my own, following the advice in Zygor. We both started playing, and he checked in on me a few hours later. His reaction says all you need to know about how well these guides work. His first comment was, “Hey! How the #3$%^& did your guy get so big so fast? Can my guy come with yours next time?”

There is no doubt that a feral build druid is the best druid in World Of Warcraft. By using the feral skill, you save a lot of mana. This translates to more money in your pocket and more gold to spend on gear and weapons. So you want to be a feral druid? Well, there is only one choice left to make: “Do you want to have a strength build or an agility build?” Of course, you should also find good grind spots.

Strength Feral Druid Build

The main advantage of a strength feral druid is at lower level. You can hit enemies harder and use less mana. This gives you enough gold for a bigger bag in a very short amount of time. Having a bigger bag makes it easier to level, since you have to replenish less often.

Agility Feral Druid Build

Agility is way better for a druid at higher levels. However, it makes you level slow at lower levels. You can also aim for a hybrid build. My friend has a hybrid build. He has added a lot of strength in the lower levels. When he became higher, he could easily switch up gear and go for agility. He leveled so fast, that he was kicked by his guild for ‘Hacking and botting.’ I asked him if that was true. He said that he wasn’t hacking. But how did he level so fast? He said to me: ‘It’s all about how you choose the best grinding area for your current feral druid build.’

How many of you would love to level another character from 1-80, but are unsure if you have the time to make it happen? Zygor’s Leveling Guide may be the answer you are looking for.

Having used free leveling guides in the past, I can tell you that they all suffer from the same weakness. You must alt + tab out of the game to check your next steps. Sure, you can get around this by playing in windowed mode, but why force yourself to play on anything less than a full screen just to level?

There are also free quest add ons available, but they are hardly reliable. Either they require other add ons to make them work efficiently, or they constantly break every new patch. In both cases they are all very heavy applications and will lag up all but the most high powered computers. Where these add ons fail is that they just tell you where to go for your quests, but not the order to do them in for maximum experience per hour.

There’s a new wave in the WoW 1-80 leveling guide collections. There are two recently released guides from Zygor. One is especially crafted for Horde and the other is for Alliance players. There seems to be a new guide being released for the World of Warcraft each week. This time around, there were two of them even. Some guides are not worth anybody’s time simply because they tend to ignore some important information. However, there are others that contain too much information that it overwhelms users. Included in the map are gold guides. By using the guide and the special map together, you can actually build up on your wealth while you try to reach the power levels.

The details included in the two guides are fantastic. It covers all the important quests that gamers have to follow while playing the game. Compared to other guides of similar scope, Zygor’s guide would fair twice as much better. The author takes pain in removing all the quests that you don’t have to pursue as they would only take up most of your time and slow you down. There are also quests that provide very little reward in the end and as such, they are not worth your time either. The guide is especially created to take you to level 70 in less than eight days. That is, if you choose to follow every bit of instructions and recommendations in the book.

The guides also include the map-mod Cartographer. This program makes possible various map modifications to make it apt to your needs. Uploading the map-mod also allows you to follow all the things as indicated in Zygor’s leveling guides in a highly methodical manner. Each spot that you need to reach in the WoW game map can be set as waypoints. By doing so, you don’t have to open the map all the time just so you’ll know where you should be headed. By making a particular spot a waypoint even though it isn’t, the arrows would point to it directly, thereby showing you the right road to take.

Zygor’s guide provides gamers a complete walkthrough on the relevant parts of the game. This includes the starting area of the race. Whether you’re taking on alliance or horde, the guide covers both of these areas.
