Taking a Look at the Zygor Leveling Guide

zygor guidesAn introduction

Zygor is handle of a World of Warcraft player by the name of John Cook, who I had not heard of until I heard about his guide. So it was with quite a lot of skepticism that I purchased the guide.

Amazingly, it turned out my skepticism was baseless. Cook’s claim that his Zygor leveling guide is faster than any other available isn’t a completely groundless assertion-he has definitely written a guide that outdoes itself. Find out how in this Zygor guide review.

The method

If you’ve read some of my other articles, or are familiar with WoW at a decent level, you know the best way to level is questing. Even AoE grinding is lower in the end, compared to questing. And stuff like instancing is even worse, because finding a consistant group is pretty much completely impossible.

So if you know questing is best, why do you need a guide? To tell you what quests to do, in which order. A good player knows the best quests, and a excellent player knows what order to do them in. Experience makes you faster, like all things.

The Zygor Leveling Guide makes you quest like an expert player with several 80s. I couldn’t name a single time I found myself wondering “Wouldn’t doing XXX before XXX be faster?” like I often did when using guides like Brian Kopp’s or Joana’s. Even the iDemise guide didn’t show me anything I couldn’t figure out on my own.

Now, you might have spotted a different problem. “Telling me what quests to do doesn’t help me find things faster. Why shouldn’t I just use questhelper addon?” While Questhelper is better than nothing, the Zygor guide has an addon built in that makes it redundant at best, and really shows the weakness of that style of leveling.

The Addon

The Zygor guide addon is even better than the one used by iDemise. And it is by far more effective than any competitor’s addon. Most addons provided with guides just put a lot of coords on your map and say “good luck”- This addon, like iDemise’s, tells you everything you could possibly want to know about leveling, as you do it.

The whole guide is in the addon. Not just the leveling guide, and a coord marker, but special systems to make sure you are optimizing your character for leveling, with instructions on Specs and all. A great tool for those starting a new class, or even their first character.

To conclude

I hope this Zygor guide review has given you some help in determining whether it is worth your time and money. If you want to see how it compares to other popular leveling guides, check out my comparison review over at Squidoo by clicking here.

Zygor WoTLK Guide Review

zygor guides

After spending countless nights playing in the fields of Northrend, Zygor is back and almost ready to reveal his latest creation, Zygor’s 1-80 WoTLK horde and alliance leveling guide. It can definitely seem overwhelming at first when entering a whole new continent for the first time. This new guide will help you through every step of the way. You’ll also be glad to know that the guide also covers the new Death Knight class and also features a complete walthrough of the Death Knight’s starter area, Ebon Hold. Zygor’s new guide is scheduled to be released on the same day as WoTLK.

I have nothing but positive things to say about Zygor’s WoTLK leveling guide. Many will be glad to know that the problem with the waypoint arrow has been fixed in this new guide. This means no more needing to do the “none/TomTom” solution. The guide itself starts off in Borean Tundra. From then on, you are guided in game, and also have a PDF to refer to if you prefer alt-tabbing (highly unlikely though). You’ll most likely prefer using the in-game guide.

Although there have been a few guides already released before WoTLK itself was even released, this doesn’t mean they are quality. Most of the quality guides will be released around the same time or a little after WoTLK is actually released. One of the few guides that were released early was WoTLK Secrets, which although seems like an enticing product, it is ONLY a PDF file, and not an actual in-game guide. The higher quality guides like Zygor’s, Joana’s, and Brian Kopp’s all include in-game guides to help you through every step of the way in-game. The thing that all of these quality guides all share in common is the fact that they’re all being released on the same day or after WoTLK itself is released. It just proves that quality can’t be rushed. Quality takes time. And yes, I can definitely say the 3 guides I just mentioned are of high quality because I’ve gotten the chance to review them all.

Zygor’s guide is by far the best when it comes to support. Alot of the other authors are quick to reply when you’re inquiring about buying the guide and forget about you after you’ve finally purchased their product(s). The support team are with you all the way, whether you’re inquiring about buying or if you’ve already purchased and asking for help. You will also be able to join the members forum, where majority of the customers hang out. Everyone there is really nice, and if you have anything to ask, you can post it there and you’ll receive a reply from either the staff or another customer within just a few minutes.

It is no wonder why everyone is patiently waiting for Zygor’s alliance and horde leveling guide for WoTLK. From what I’ve seen so far, I’d have to say that Joana and Brian Kopp will definitely have a hard time competing. The quality of the guide is unbelievable. The in-game guide works perfectly, and the instructions are clear as crystal. Everything is easy to understand and follow. I highly recommend this guide for those who are into both horde and alliance leveling. You won’t regret it. If anything goes wrong, which I doubt, there IS a 60 day moneyback guarantee, so there’s really no risk involved.

You can read my reviews on the top WoTLK leveling guides at WoTLK Guide Reviews. I’ve reviewed guides from the top authors, such as Joana, Team iDemise, Zygor, T Dub, Brian Kopp, and more.

Zygor’s Leveling Guide – Is Leveling Zygor Worth Your $?

zygor guides
As far as research goes, you’ve done your part in finding a review of a product before purchasing, and now you’re probably expecting me to do my part and help you make an informed decision. Lucky for you, I won’t disappoint.

If At Any Time You Wish To Get More Infromation, Or Purchase With 5 Bonuses then Click Here To Start Zygor’s Leveling Guide.

To start my review out I should note that Zygor’s leveling guide is the most recently released of the professional level World of Warcraft leveling products (Joanna’s Horde, Brian Kopp’s Alliance, iDemise 1-70, and “Leveling Zygor” as I call it), and one of the only guides that offers both a Horde and Alliance guide (Horde Zygor and Alliance Zygor).

As the new kid in school, you’ve got to have something important, innovative, and that no one else has to offer if you want to convince people to drop their old stand-bys. In reality, Zygor’s greatest asset is the fact that it’s new, you know why? Because they’ve been able to look at every guide published thus far, and try to improve.

Zygor’s Leveling Guide means that your guide will operate completely in-game as an easy to install addon. My biggest joy when I first started using my Horde Zygor Guide was that there was no more alt-tabbing out to check out another window and read walls of text while your character is vulnerable and more importantly not leveling.

The in-game guide points you from quest to quest telling you exactly which quests to pick up, what order to get them in, and the most efficient route for actually doing the quests and turning them in. Do other guides offer an in-game version of their guide? Some do now, but they were all adapted from their original PDF text versions whereas Zygor was in-game from the beginning. My experience has showed that no other guide transferred to this system as well as Zygor.

Zygor’s guide means your leveling time will be close to cut in half. The guides are surprisingly simple for such a detailed set of instructions. It’s really a lot like having a leveling coach in your game with you when you start to realize that NOTHING is left out. You move fluidly from quest to quest, zone to zone, and level to level. My 1-80 leveling time with any class went from 12 or 13 days /played time to under 7.

So is it worth the money? Well here’s an equation you can use: Zygor’s leveling guides are $50, the lowest going professional wow guide price right now. Is 5 or more days (that’s about 120 hours) that you don’t have to waste leveling on every character worth $50? For me the answer was yes as I was able to reach end-game quicker (and we all know that’s the fun part of the game) and leave leveling up to the guide rather than bogging through it on my own.

Is it worth it to you? My response is a resounding “Yes!”  But of course that’s all up to you, in the end, you have to weigh the options yourself but I hope I have at least helped in your search for knowledge and World of Warcraft success.
